These paintings have been inspired by Rose's time spent with her family, friends and the environment around her. They are literally a 'snap shot' in time. So many of the photos on our phones never get to see the light of day but they really capture a moment in time. Using a juxtaposition between colours and shapes, the forms spring back to life in an abstract and emotive fashion.
