Since beginning her professional practice three years ago, she has developed a distinctive approach while continuing to refine and narrow her visual language. This ongoing process remains central to her work, with each painting acting as part of a wider exploration of restraint, balance, and what is suggested rather than fully defined.
Her work is held in private collections in the UK and internationally.

Rose Osborn is a British-born artist based in Berkshire, working primarily in oil. With a background in horse racing, her work is shaped by a longstanding connection to animals, movement, and the natural world, alongside the visual influence of travel and changing landscapes.
Her practice explores moments of stillness, figures and animals held in quiet, often pared-back spaces. Working through layered colour and reduction, she simplifies form to its essential shapes, allowing tone, contrast and atmosphere to carry a subtle narrative. Sitting between representation and abstraction, her paintings are less concerned with exact description and more with presence, memory, and the emotional weight held within a subject.
