Having visited St Mawes since childhood, Rose draws inspiration from the Roseland Peninsula’s shifting light, tides, and colours. Her expressive, colour-rich paintings explore the balance between structure and spontaneity, using bold contrasts and layered mark-making to reflect the ever-changing nature of the coast.
